“My work has developed from an early interest in architectural abstract expressions towards a preoccupation for the integration of social elements in sculpture through means of communication. I explore the relations amongst place, structures of identity and memory, decomposing and displacing these elements, creating situations in which the different levels of perception become exposed. In that regard I am interested in portraying society through the study of the built environment as a structure of meanings.”
